SickNotWeak is Michael Landsberg’s Canadian virtual gathering spot for people who care about depression and especially those experiencing it. As you can imagine, the tone of this place can be bleak. I wanted to add some balance and offer people hope, so I wrote an article and it was published in mid-July. I wrote it several months ago, before I was hit with a fresh bout of depression.
It was good reading my own words with fresh eyes. It reminded me that I am only steps away from being that vibrant person again. That I need to persevere, and for gosh sake, remember to apply those critical tools that worked for me before. How easy it is to forget when the brain is at half capacity.

you must feel good just looking at them ~ they’re a lovely accomplishment
and i smiled when i read another of your blogs and the last words were close to what my dad taught me:)
