I pledge to do no harm

June 1st – What a perfect day… as I’ve been accepted to Yorkville University’s Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology!!!

At the end of 30 months of study, I will be qualified to guide and counsel people for improved mental health (my area of specialization). And elligible for admitance to professional organizations such as the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association.

One of the areas that I hope to explore during my studies is how creativity can be used to assist in healing.

I just knew Yorkville U. was the place for me from my first reading of the program description. You see, this degree is hands-on; they offer applied learning taught by practicing therapists from across North-America and beyond. And because the University was conceived and created for remote learning (there is no brick & mortar campus) students gather from around the world to learn together. What an awesome opportunity to broaden the mind as we learn our craft. I am thrilled to be a part of it all!!!

I will start right after Labour Day – September 4 – just like a regular school kid! But you will find my nose hitting the books well before that as I dive into the long list of reading materials 🙂

I am exactly where I am meant to be. Ahhh… even the clouds are smiling for me 🙂

Love to all,

Oh my good gosh, Michele. As I’m reading your book for the third time, I’m overpowered with a sense that you are spot on on your path. Feels like every event I’m reading about in your book, was necessary and in perfect sync to bring you to this spot in your life. What a feeling it must be for you. Bravo. You have arrived or should I say, you’re well on your way! xo
